Returns, Refunds & Right of Withdrawal

1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal (EU & UK consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have the legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you (or a person you nominate) receive the artwork, without giving any reason. This applies to all editions in our standard sizes and frames.

To exercise this right, email us at elegancedesignsstudio@gmail.com with your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw. You may use the model withdrawal form at the end of this policy, but it is not mandatory. You can also notify us before the artwork arrives.

2. Returning the artwork

  • Send the artwork back within 14 days of notifying us. We will send you the return address and instructions by email.

  • Please return the piece in its original protective packaging, undamaged and in the condition in which you received it. You may inspect the artwork as you would in a gallery, but you are liable for any diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish its nature and characteristics.

  • The direct cost of returning the artwork is borne by you, unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong item. Large framed works are shipped as fragile freight; we recommend insured, tracked shipping.

3. Refunds

We will refund the full purchase price, including the original standard delivery cost, within 14 days of receiving the artwork back (or of receiving proof that you have sent it, whichever is earlier), using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

4. Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Every piece is inspected before it leaves the print studio and shipped in reinforced, gallery-grade packaging. If your order arrives damaged, faulty or not as described:

  • Contact us at elegancedesignsstudio@gmail.com as soon as possible, ideally within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the artwork and the outer packaging.

  • We will send a replacement at no cost, or refund you in full if you prefer. Return shipping for damaged or incorrect items is on us.

This does not limit your statutory rights, including your rights under the legal guarantee of conformity, which apply for at least two years from delivery.

5. Cancellations before production

Production usually begins within 12 hours of your order. If you cancel before production has started, we will cancel and refund immediately. If production has already begun, your 14-day right of withdrawal (Section 1) still applies once the artwork is delivered.

6. Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply to artworks that are personalised or made to your individual specifications (for example, a commissioned piece, a custom colour palette or a non-standard size). Choosing a standard size or frame from our menu is not a personalisation, and such orders remain fully returnable.

7. Customers outside the EU and UK

We extend the same 14-day return window to all customers worldwide as a courtesy. Return shipping and any import duties on the return are borne by the customer, except for damaged or incorrect items.
